This app engages students in ways they can relate, helping them improve math knowledge and assisting them so that they meet Minnesota state math standards.   Parent Education Enhancement Program This program partners with parents, creating spaces for a better experience, improving community perceptions and increasing student attendance and retention rates.   Vocabulary Instruction Read-Aloud Books These high-quality children's books will expand vocabulary development for our kindergartens and help meet the school-wide goals to increase vocabulary through out-loud and repeat reading. Classroom Transformation Kits
These kits enhance learning by turning ordinary rooms into a Glow Party, Carnival, Construction Zone or Restaurant and can be used in combination with many lessons across grades K-2.   Music Instruments
Supplementing the music room with xylophones, percussion, and a steel pan drums facilitates creativity, musical skills and literacy, improvisation and multiculturalism. Strengths in the Compass Classroom This grant provides strength training to 10th grade Compass students and supports the Compass Project Manager. Flexible Seating for Success
Flexible seating allows students to bounce, rock, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. In turn, this burns more calories, increases metabolism and keeps young minds more alert and focused. ThinkFun and Lakeshore Learning
This program expands student learning and higher-level mathematical thinking skills by providing activities to challenge higher learners while promoting creative and critical thinking. Book Club Unit

Historical Experiences: Fur Trade Living History Lyceums $500.00 Sixth-grade students experienced fur trading in Minnesota. Classroom sets of contemporary young adult literature are needed to encourage a love of reading and to meet ELA standards. Building Future Storm Leaders $1000.00 Provide leadership basic skills through mentorship in classroom settings by high school leaders. This would provide the opportunity to develop skills and would instill the pride and tradition of being a member of the Storm. Distillation Flasks for Intro to Chemistry Students $600.00 Distillation flasks are a more professional and safe way to separate liquids than previously used techniques. Pasco Lab Equipment - Wireless Temperature Sensors $1000.00 The sensors will greatly improve the educational opportunity in science. It will allow students to connect real-time data with scientific concepts during experiments. Minecraft Education Edition $500.00 Purchase of 100 Minecraft Education Edition licenses for use districtwide in a variety of content areas. Minecraft Education Edition is an open-world game that promotes creativity, collaboration and problem-solving in an immersive environment. Spanish Book Sharing $250.00 Spanish 3 students write and illustrate children’s books that are then read to students in the Clearview Spanish Immersion Program. The books are then donated to the school in need in Spanish speaking countries.

Auction items will be available for pick up at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Community Education Office. We have designated 2 pick-up time slots below: Tuesday, June 2, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Wednesday, June 3, 1:00 - 3:00 pm  (if these times don't work for you, please give us a call at (320) 258-1577 to make other arrangements)   Sauk Rapids-Rice Community Education is located at the Sauk Rapids Middle School (901 1st St S).  1) Park by the curb outside Door 1 (it is a one way, so please enter by the Community Arts Center) 2) Call our office at 258-1577 and we will deliver right to your car.   The winning bidder will be contacted via email provided.
